I've been eagerly awaiting the start of the summer movie season. Karl and I even mapped out the nearly 40 movies we're interested in seeing between now and the end of August. One down. X-Men: Wolverine was the best of the series yet, in my opinion. Since I'm not one of the fan boys, I'm not intrenched in the mythology of the comic and thus not that interested in the cast of mutant characters that show up in the X-Men movies. But this told the back story of Wolverine. Granted, it read like many other of these back stories. A tragic childhood. Love lost. Then forced to make their way alone in the world, they face their destiny.You know what I mean. But I liked it. Next week is when things really heat up with Star Trek (yet another prequel). I do believe it will rock.
