My dad was not in charge of the Beef Bowl booth at the annual Japanese folk dance festival at my parent's church this year. So, I did not have to cook like I've done every year for the last 10 years or so. But, I did take a shift serving up the dish in the booth. Not quite the same, but it was ok. I ran into old friends from highschool, which is always a trip. Now I don't have to go to the highschool reunion!

Obon 2008
My dad was not in charge of the Beef Bowl booth at the annual Japanese folk dance festival at my parent's church this year.
