My friend Bob turned me on to Achewood, a comic with a varied cast of characters with their own blog. The author, Chris Onstad, is obviously a foodie and his characters often refer to his food affliction in their tales, including a whole series about bacon. One character, Téodor Orezscu, is a foodie extrodinaire, describing his search of fresh dill weed to complete his lobster rolls, and more tales as such. Or the Whole Foods girl with the attitude.
